US Customs and Border Protection has automated the I-94 form, the paper form will be created in a electronic format and not provided to the traveler. The US Customs and Border Protection will automatically receive information when foreign citizens leave the territory of the United States.
Since may 2013 the US Customs and Border Protection has automated the issuance of I- 94 Arrival / Departure record of all its international airports and ports . Form I- 94 issued to alien who travels and have entered legally in the United States and also is necessary when there is need to be verified the immigration status. Automation of procedures for issuance of I- 94 means that foreign nationals traveling to the U.S. will no longer fill the paper version of this document and keep in their passports until their departure from the territory of the United States.
